CVS will not contact me via eRx. They keep faxing med refill requests. I asked them to use the eRx and they said it is automatic and I need to speak to my eRx vendor, not them. Anyone else run into this? Any thought? Thanks.

I know tech support that express scripts had to release a software patch to fix the date expiration issue, but I would think a large vendor like CVS would have accomplished this quickly.
I also know that large vendors are the worst at "problem must be on your side, we're too huge to fail". Which sometimes requires finding a connection through social media and making resolution a personal priority for someone.

That's happening to me too! And I have a lot of patients using CVS. How do we get it fixed? Frank

We have that problem occasionally. I always want to send patients to other pharmacies, but that is hard, because most patients like where they go.
At least it is not the Riteaid/Walgreens scenario.
But every doctor has their favorite pharmacist, so ask them why they think it is happening. They will at least know why the few they send go by fax.

Can we get this fixed? Most of us suffer in silence. Maybe updox can chip in some funds as it'll reduce their incoming faxes nationwide.
It's got to be somewhere between AC, Newcrop, clearninghouse and CVS. Should save everyone time and effort.

I don't think it is AC, Newcrop, Clearinghouse. It is likely CVS, and there may even be a good reason.
Automatic refills to eRX is just that. In order for you to get a fax,CVS has to fax you. Plain and simple. I don't think NewCrop has anything to do with faxes.
Again, there are reasons it is done. I will talk to my people again. I can certainly talk to NewCrop.

Bump
We still get a TON of faxed requests from CVS, Walgreens, and Publix. But some locations do electronic the right way.
Do I have to call the pharmacy or AC? What can I do this is crazy!?
