Hey guys
Trying to figure out what I am doing to generate this problem. Every once in a while a patient will have an (OB) in front of their name when listed on the schedule. When this happens I won't be able to open chart from the scheduler and will have type patient's name in the patient list to open. Not a biggy but would like to figure this out so I can correct it. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dru

It means OverBooked. I have found that this is when there are two patients in the exact same time slot.
We have to open the PROVIDER's schedule that this has occurred in.
The next thing is to choose the patient that you want to move and click on them and reschedule them.
If this is what is happening in your case I hope that this helps.

Hi Dru,

Allison is correct. The OB means "Overbooked" and there are multiple patients on that time slot. That is why you cannot just double click on the appointment slot to pull a chart, as the system does not know what patient to pull.

To access the chart, just click the providers name at the top of the schedule to go to detailed view. This will separate patients out all on their own lines allowing you to double click and pull the chart. In this detailed view you can also see who booked the appointment, and what day and time the appointment is booked for.
