It used to be, in the days of old, that AC would alert you if you tried to enter a new patient with the same date of birth and name as one already in the system. Alas, this appears to be no more. Say it isn't so!

Is it so?

For me AC 10.0.1 and it is funny Windows 10 Pro client to Windows Server Essentials 2012 R2
If I enter patient directly on the server get the 'error message" there is another person with same name and dob .
However, if I try to do it on a client machine the 'error message' does not pop up and same patient name and dob with a new ID number appears along with the previous so this is some client/server related issue

Koby helped me get some steps to reproduce the issue.

I'll try to circle back when I have more information!

10.0.2 AC, and Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 7 Pro. Sorry for the late reply.
