Maybe I am crazy, but it seems that over time, the way our imported items are ordered has changed. A fairly recent change is particularly problematic.

Labs, x-rays, etc, have always been ordered by date, which is as they should be.
I am not certain of this, but I believe at one point items were in chronological order. At some point this changed to reverse chronological order, which was fine: newest items go to the top of the list. (Actually, either of these two orders was fine....).

Sometime recently, things changed. The problem is that within a category (e.g. Laboratory or Radiology) the order is first alphabetical and then by date. This means that most recent results are no longer at the top and are hard to find.

Here is an example that is not a great one, but shows what I mean:

Usually I am looking for the most recent labs; finding them in a list like this is not easy.

Have others noticed this?
I am on V9.3.1. When did the change occur? Is it present in other versions?
Or is there some setting I can click that will put things back as they were?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Nevermind...

In case anyone else runs into this, at the top of the imported items page is a radio button to select ordering by date or alphabetically. Somehow mine had switched.

For those of us who had (in the past) imported lab from Quest, etc, using the AC interface, the arrangement is even more illogical. Labs imported "manually" are on top, in order as Jon has posted. The interface-imported labs are at the bottom.

It's lack of attention to obvious bugs which is so-o-o-o frustrating, now in the 10th major version of AC.
