Just some pediatric issues.
Is there any way to add siblings somewhere and a way to connect to their charts from that screen? We often have 3-4 children in the same room and sometimes 4 different last names and somehow they all become sick after they get in the room.
Is there a way to put a place in the chart for nurses to document UA results, UHCGs, Streps etc.. Is there a better way to do this?
Is there a place to put hearing/vision screenings or do we just incorporate this somewhere?
Thanks
Ron

There is not a way to attach siblings. You could add them in a yellow stick (from demographics) that will show up when you highlight the chart, but that is cumbersome, and people use it (yellow note) for a lot of other things.
Lab results we generally put as an email note that is saved to the chart. You could also do them as an addendum.
I generally do hearing screens as an addendum and have a template for normal which I will adjust if the results are not.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them
