I am new from Soapware. We are having a problem in importing C-CDA into AC. About 2000 charts are not being imported. Has any one dealt with this issue and if so what solutions did you have for this issue. Any advice or input greatly appreciated.

To back up a bit - you have exported all of your charts from Soapware, and only some of the C-CDA files are importing?
It will help the conversation significantly to understand a bit more about your circumstances, since we have done conversions from many different systems to AC.

Yes I exported the files from soapware to the C-CDA. We then imported the C-CDA into AC. of about 13000 patients only about 11000 came in, approximately 2000 files where not imported. Any advice is appreciated.

The short answer is typically that the failing files are lacking a field that is mandatory in AC to import.
Is there an error log or alert that tells you what was missing?
Those files then either have to all be edited by hand, or you need a different application with additional programming to handle the import.

I am also new from Soapware, and have had similar issues importing. About 1000 of our 8400 charts failed to import during the CCDA import. We are waiting to fix this before proceeding with import of the PDF files (scanned and imported material.)
There is a log, and our errors ranged from a gender missing, or a problem with a medication format, to just a nonspecific import error. I have been in contact with AC support (who have been excellent in my opinion) and they say they should be able to fix about 500 of the 1000 missing charts, by instructing AC to "ignore" the errors during import. We are going to attempt this later in the week.
Soapware did not have the level of structure that AC has, and I think our medication lists, which we have had been building since 2003, were a mishmash of formatted medications and free-text. This would probably confuse any import interface, and I suspect those migrating to other EMRs are having similar issues.
I have also found that the medication lists which have been imported successfully are often formatted incorrectly, or have a leading space character which confounds our ability to prescribe controlled substances. We have had to inactivate the entire medication list in order to allow the NewCrop screen to load correctly. Unfortunately, this means a year or so of re-entering entire medication lists.
