Hi all,

Just wanted to get some feedback...

Is it best practice to install some kind of Anti-Virus program on the Server itself? Something like Norton?

Thanks.

Whatever you do, NOT Norton.

I recommend Sophos Endpoint and Intercept X, as that combination blocked the latest Ransomware attacks even before there were signatures released.

I use Symantec Endpoint Protection for business. Works well. I get emails about intrusions that occur on specific work stations at odd hours. My staff like to cruise sketchy sites. I also use Malwarebytes professional. It will find trojans and tons of adware.

Can someone opine as to which of the above products will allow me to manage antivirus anti-trojan on workstations from a central dashboard on the 'sever'?

@shrinkrap - sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. how would you feel about ac files with patient info being locked and ransomed? how about filing a hippa breach with the feds? not much fun to think about. do something.

i got my staff chromebooks for all personal use and banned all surfing and email from the desktop computers.
