If you are having Updox problems, restart the Updox connector on your main machine. For most folks, that will be Updox Central.
We started hearing from clients using Updox that it had stopped working yesterday afternoon. After some research, we started restarting Updox Central, which triggers the update, and then Updox begins to work again.
In a few cases, the update would loop, and that required some additional attention to resolve.
We worked through all of our instances last night, and all of them eventually came back online.

Many thanks to Indy for pro-actively putting this out. We had this problem today with Updox and I re-started Updox Central and it fixed the problem.
What I want to know is why the heck I did not hear about this in advance from Updox? WTF? You push out an update which is going to screw people up and no email, no warning? Come on Updox!

What I want to know is why the heck I did not hear about this in advance from Updox? I received a Secure Message Thursday night from Updox (on the workspace screen) that notified me to restart Updox Central on my main computer. Make sure you have checked off to display all Secure Messages.

I was just on phone with Updox support, and apparently another update was sent out for Updox Central yesterday. I was having problem with Updox just closing on its own every few minutes or so since Updox tech appointment two days ago. Tech cleared my Cache and at first seemed to help, but no, just closed again on its own. This latter issue is probably just me, in fact my client computers are not doing it. Just sharing it in case others see it.

How does one know the update thru UPdox central reset was successful. Is there a version number in Updox Central can be used to confirm all is well ?

Ok, I did not see a response from anybody.
So I investigated this thing a bit further with the help of an Updox technical support.
If all goes well then Amazing Chart Connector, under Plugins, from Updox Central would list a version number 1.5.9.5 and say installed.
Please ensure to get the appropriate support from Updox. Otherwise there may be some surprises with this update process. And those guys were readily available for me.
In my case the version was listed but the new connector was not installed. Updox client support addressed that issue for me.
Please feel free to vet this.
