hello,
I recently replaced an older computer with a win 10 pro computer . This is a desk station not the main PC. I installed AC version 6.3.3 with no errors. When I try to scan from it I get the error message:
" Twain subsystem error. Please ensure that EZ twain 32.dll is installed in Amazing charts folder
But it is present in the AC folder both on the server and the workstation . All other computers are able to scan .. I have uninstalled and re installed AC as well as my Brother MFC L2740 scanner with the correct driver package for win 10 64 bit but the error still appears and I am unable to scan from AC .
any help much appreciated

Which PDF reader are you using ? Some people have had issues with Acrobat. Try Foxit Reader.

I am using Adobe acrobat. Could you please explain why that should result in scanning error ?
I am unable to connect with the scanner at all .

If it is Adobe DC many have had problems either use Adobe 11 or an alternative such as Foxit

there may be a misunderstanding . I cannot connect the scanner so the PDF reader is not the issue at this point . I was referring to importing files direct from the scanner , not imported item error.

I also have scanning issue. I didnt want to start new threat to clutter posts.
I have the Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500. Setup and wifi have not changed in last 2 years. It connects via wifi to the router 3 feet way.
For whatever reason, for last 2 weeks, the orange light signalling a weak wifi connection, has remained on despite reinstalling, reconnecting to network, windows updates etc. It still works wirelessly but constant orange light can be annoying.
Thoughts?

incompatibility issues are a major headache. I have tried various methods to resolve this none successful so far. Both AC and Microsoft want us to upgrade but make no effort to support previous versions of software. For example it seems that Win 10 will not support Twain drivers. Why? ,
AC does not make any effort to provide a fix for those of us who use previous versions either . The last 2 times I have called them the only thing they would say is ' you need to upgrade ' . For this we pay nearly $ 2000 per year
This is terrible .
