Hi, Long story short is that I have a new computer which when AC was downloaded onto it, Microsoft word stopped being able to function properly. After 8 hours on the phone with Microsoft, it looks as if it is the AC program that is screwing it up. Anyone else have this problem? (I'm about to hang myself, this has been so frustrating) Joan

This has been talked about on the boards on a couple of occasions, but I don't know if we came to any conclusions: http://amazingcharts.com/ub/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6634&page=0&fpart=1I know when you load up the new Beta version of AC, there is a little blurb to the effect that Microsoft Office may have to reload or something. Can't remember the exact wording... Sorry, that's not much help, but it indicates that AC may be aware of a problem. Why don't you call Tech Support and report back here and tell us what it's about?

Here's the deal. There were some fixes for the issue. But, there WAS an issue. With the newest release, it is fixed. It does state that you may have Office 2007 try to install, but unlike before, if you let it go through it's little install, it won't happen again. hth
