Why does the reminder button take so long to load. Like 30-45 seconds??? On some screens it is lightning fast, but most very slow.
Also, why can't we copy the fax number of pharmacies from AC, since we have to actually fax from Updox?
Just some thoughts,

If it hasn't been reported as a bug, reminder button (I am assuming you mean the set reminder on the dropvdown list on the patient list), then it is probably something related specifically to you. For instance, I can't change spell check, but my staff can. (Probably because AC realizes my staff can't spell).
Now the second is something you can add to the things you want on the main screen under Help => recommend improvements. But stand in line, lol.
As far as copying the fax number, some things can be copied, some things can't. Not sure about Updox since I don't use it. But, I must say having those numbers there are a huge improvement.
Now for me, being able to delete a pharmacy there instead of having to go to demographics is a huge thing. My guess is (as Chris tells me), there are probably over 500 requests. They look at the ones that are requested by 50 people. Just making up that number. My requests would be over 500 by themselves.

500 is probably on the conservative side for you Bert:-).....For the record we've received over 1200 requests in the last 14 months. It's increased substantially since we've been encouraging users to contribute suggestions, many users were not aware of the option under HELP.
By the way, of those 1200 very few are the same or even close. Some yes but just a fraction and I'm talking about a couple dozen here. However that simplifies our prioritization process as we focus on those we see most frequently.
David I'm not aware of performance issues with the Reminders but Support may...they should take a look, as Bert suggests it could be environmental.

my reminder button hangs as well, thought it was a version issue...hangs about 15 seconds...when defining a code from initial to subsequent it also hangs for maybe 30-45 seconds

I have always - meaning going back for many versions - found setting reminders to be one of the slowest aspects of AC. Not terrible (I would consider a 15 second hang to be pretty bad) but slower than most anything else.
And back to David's original point... it is not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to copy and paste pharmacy fax numbers from AC. Neither ctrl-c nor select and right-click work for this.

I would say it's about a 5-7 second delay, just enough to bug me but not enough to report it and has been, as Jon stated, going back many versions.

500 is probably on the conservative side for you Bert:-) LOL. Yeah, but look at our KLAS awards. Gotta give me a lot of credit for that. Besides, I have never made an official request through the system. I just tend to fire off emails to someone at AC...hmmm...what is that address? Oh, yes, I have it in my address book as requests/complaints. No, I have to say, Chris, you have done an amazing job with AC since you started there. No telling where we could be without these government mandates.

Development took a quick look at the code and there is an opportunity for some improvement so I added a task for the next release. The display response is based on the number of patients. Less noticeable on high performance hardware but we can speed things up a bit for you.

That is great Chris! One more bug with the latest 9.3.1. Now I can't send a message to "Everyone" with an AC account. Why would you take this away? I used it all the time!

Hi Dr. Lee --
I asked Chris Conrad, the product manager for Amazing Charts EHR, about your problem. He really wasn't sure what you meant. We both think you should contact our technical support group and file a ticket with them. Someone can look into it and get back to you.

For some reason the "everyone" button disappeared when trying to send an AC message to all users, but it came back as soon as it went away... All good now.

I am with Wendell, 5-7 second delay when in the pt chart and less at the home page for messages.
Bert: I had the same problem with spell check and Tech support was able to fix it. I am sure with your experience you have tried everything. Let us know if you ever figure it out. I really needed it because my typing is horrible!
Mine and my partners bugs have changed over the years but one that is still around ids that we can not print an invoice at the time of coding the visit and signing the chart. I wish I could code the visit, have an option to print and then save the visit. This would help especially when I see cash pay patients. We have asked for this for years. I think the last time was at a Primed meeting about 3 years ago.
Glad AC (Chris) is following the forum. Thanks
