We have two locations and thus 2 phone numbers and faxes.

We have one AC server for 3 providers.

How can we customize the note headers and RX to show for the providers in that specific location. Currently only our main location and phone number is listed.

That's a tough one. Because all of the information will stem from the one database. I tried to do some workarounds, and you can add some information in the address 2 line of the main demographics section in admin, but it doesn't look that great. And, it doesn't even up in the address of the script. You could put the phone numbers and name in the Comment section in admin where it is saved for every script, but that looks rather gawdy as well. And, you wouldn't be able to put comments in when you needed.

As far as the notes, I don't know. The letterhead could likely be changed. AC could help with that.

I am sure there are many, but my recommendation would be to contact Wendell. You can just click on him to the right in the Top Posters box and PM him. I say this, because he has two locations with one database. He would be perfect, because he used to have two locations and two databases. So, in the latter, it was probably easy. Not sure how he had it set up. But, now he must be in the same boat, but he has had a long time to figure it out. Maybe he will read this and post in the thread.

I have had this issue for a long time. Because I go to two locations. And you would think that you should be able to do it based on scheduled patients at a location and such. But there has been no fix. frown

This issue is so simple. I don't know why people make it so hard. It's called RDS and RD.

Main office:

Server and domain network with RDS installed
Remote Desktop Server
Install AC or any other to RDS and each employee at other office has access concurrently as long as they are licensed to use their own sessions.

Remote office:

Computers with RDP
Internet

______________________

Once you purchase a server for RD, you are all set. Just some configuration. The server will need the role for RDS configured. It is slightly more difficult than that, but there are hundreds of articles on the Internet.

Bert: I log in remotely, that isn't the issue. The issue is not being able to have a second location on the printed scripts like for PT or orders for MRI or CT or such.
