We've been having issues with Imported Items. Intermittently we can't get an II to open--we get "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again (523;523)." I've asked TS to help us but the issue remains unresolved. Anyone else had this problem?

We're running AC in the Cloud.

John,

Intermittent issues with Adobe is why some folks have gone to third party PDF readers, not sure if AC will install them for you.

For some of our managed instance clients (comparable to Hosted) we reverted to the last version of Adobe that isn't "Cloud", and that produces far fewer issues.

John,

Glad to do it.

If you get stalled in talking to AC support about it, you are welcome to loop me in.

Adobe is prettier and probably has more features, but since switching to Foxit some years ago (I think it was Sandeep who pushed it) we have none of the issues that John describes. Less frequent updates, too.
