Good day, ACPM masters. I'm feeling totally inadequate today. I've searched the Troubleshoot guides and the User manual, but I can't seem to find out how to undo a check in or if it's even possible. I was checking elibility from the daily schedule and selected check in instead. Can I remove a check in?
Thanks for any feedback.

To undo a check in you will need to double click on the patient's name on the schedule and in the status box change from Checked In to Booked then press either f2 or save on the bottom right to save the change.

Oh, how I wish that Version 9.1 allowed a patient entry on the schedule to CHANGE COLOR (EVEN HAVE AN ASTERISK OR SOME KIND OF INDICATION) when they are checked in. I don't think they fixed THAT.

We are still using the workaround, which wastes my receptionists time: changing the appt types! F/U Visit becomes F/U Visit Arrived.

When a patient checks in, our front desk forwards the chart to the provider's message box. That is how we know they have arrived.
In a coming version of AC, we have been promised that the message box will "auto-refresh" so you will know if a new chart is there without having to refresh it.

Would it really be that hard to change the color on the schedule? I think they told me it was a big fix requiring too much work. It's a common feature in competing programs.

It is a very common feature in other programs! I wish Amazing Charts would take this step. It would save SO much time and headache. And if there was a feature that would let us know at exactly what time the patient has checked in.
