I am having a difficult time printing letters to all of our patients with X insurance through Reports. I want to use the Letter Writer (where I already have a letter template) to batch print the letters. automatically imports the letters into patient's charts.
My problem is that I can not get the "New" Letter Writer to batch print. In the Reports window, I can query my list of patients, but AC does not let me select the entire list and proceed with the New Letter Writer. Instead it proceeds with a generic letter writer (by pressing the Mail|Email button). This letter writer doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the New Letter Writer - which I don't care for anyways.
However, when proceeding with this alternate letter writer, AC will generate the batch of letters that I can print but I get an error when it tries to import all of these letters into each patient's chart. (It was about 125 patients so maybe it was too much for AC to handle...I got a "CrystalDecisions.Shared.CrystalReportsException: Load report failed" error report).
I haven't ever used the Letter Writer before, so I may not be doing this right. Is there another way to go about batch printing patient letters? On v9.0.0 btw
