This should be obvious but I cannot figure it out. How do I set up a reminder message to remind myself of something to do, in the future, that does not relate to a specific patient, for example making sure to send a birthday card, etc. ?

One thing you can do is use a 'test' patient. I have a number of patients I use as test subjects, such as one named Test Testing, who happens to be a very troubled youth. You can just set a timed reminder on the test patient. Demi Moore is also in the system, complete with picture and social history, and hopefully this is not illegal.

Sure. There may be other ways to do it as well.

From the main screen, you can click the Yellow Note on the top right hand side. You can send yourself a reminder from there not related to a specific or dummy patient

Yes, indeed. Thanks Marty. I knew it had to be something simple. Sometimes we cannot see the forest for the trees! We need to develop a better to the point FAQ for AC. I pity the new users who have so much to learn.

I'd be lost trying to figure out AC without this User Board. This is what sold me on the program. Better to ask those who have been using it already instead of trying to figure it out for yourself.
