Is there a way to inactivate patients simply based on when last seen? When creating an export list, it would be great to get a list of CURRENT patients (those seen in the last 2 years). We use the export sheet to keep track of when labs need done and use fields in the demographics for the data and this translates to columns in Excel upon exporting. Problem is that ALL patients are getting exported.

I don't think there's a way to do that automatically. You would have to perform a search for all patients whose last visit was greater than two years ago, then either export that list or print it. Then, you would have to go in and inactivate them by hand.

However, if you're just wanting to perform a search on patients who have been seen in the last two years, why can't you just add that criterion into your search?

Adam, allow me (I need the posts)

Click on "Search" above the patient listing area on the schedule page, then highlight "Advanced Search". You can define your search by lots of neat stuff. Good luck!

Yes, you can search by the last encounter date. In the Beta you do this under Search by Multiple Criteria.
