Does anyone else who uses updox find that the quality of faxes going out are subpar? Particularly when filling in forms, it is most noticeable.

Also, I noticed that with acrobat you can now mark up PDFs pretty successfully. Does anyone know an alternative to Updox that might be cheaper and can bring in faxes as PDFs or convert them easily. As the cost of Updox rises, my patience for its shortcomings diminishes.
Thanks

I would be happy to hear about cheaper alternatives, but what do you mean by faxes being "subpar"?

The quality is poor and the recipient often can not read it.

Oh yes. they told me to change the font. Which I can do, and it helps a little but the problem is the quality of their fax, not the font I choose.

Is the setting for the fax quality set to "Smart B&W"

This is located under TOOLS, MY PROFILE, SETTINGS. From there "convert printed/uploaded documents in". Make sure "Smart B&W" is selected.

Thanks Marty.

That didn't really help but I appreciate the suggestion
I just have to use a thick large black font. Oh well.
