Got to work today ....
Staff says they cant get into Amazing Charts ....
Error message: You have downloaded a new version of AC and need to run the database tuner ....

Thing is we did NOT download a new version ....

Amazing Charts is again UNUSABLE !!!!

and, no tech support available by telephone or online !!!!

We have encountered this issue, and not on all computers.
Obviously, rebooting everything is the first attempt, making sure all updates are in place...
We have been advised to run as admin to log in.
I hope that will help you get through your day until you hear back from someone.

That is correct. My manager was able to get tech support after a few tries. Problem solved.

We did that , logged into AC management website, and ran the tuner as requested. That did not solve the problem. The problem was almost 2 hours of production loss.

I've had this error pop up a few times over the years. Rebooting the server always fixed the problem. Funny thing is this error did not happen on all the pc's

Interestingly, I just had this problem the other day (v8.2.4) but had not seen it in a very long time. Usually it is because the version on the computer and the server are different, but obviously this was not the case this week.

As above, simply restarting the offending computer solved the problem. Somehow, I guess it forgot it's version and thought it was new.

I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago and tech support logged into the server and basically just restarted the SQL service (at the server) for amazing charts. It has happened several times since then and we simply restart SQL service. Hope this helps.
