Has anyone out there figured out an easy way to do the PQRS reporting? Any tips/suggestions?

Use MD interactive load 20 patients in the group and smile as you will be short of $200

I've been using claims for reporting and it's anything but easy. Next year I'll be going the registry route like Sunil.

doing registry ONLY for years. I think you have to be crazy to do it by claims. Its cheaper but work the whole year and no guarantee that they are getting it all. Registry is quick and once with confirmed all done.

I have also used a registry and just enter the patients, data, and done. I keep track of the things I'm reporting in the tracked data section of the summary page and that makes the data entry very easy.

I have never done PQRS, but it looks like its going to be mandatory. Please pardon stupid questions -- but what is the "registry"? How do we attest for this? Does it come automatically out of AC?

Tom,
In 2014 Medicare/CMS made PQRS reporting easier by allowing "registries"--basically a middleman to help submit data. The system of directly reporting to CMS is cumbersome as I understand it. MD Interactive is one of the approved registries. I got an email from AC's product manager, Chris Conrad, on Monday saying that they are exploring setting up a system to do PQRS reporting from within AC by partnering with a registry.

This is the registry that I use. I was connected through the AOA. It is easy to use http://info.cecity.com/solutions_pqriwizard.htmlIt doesn't take long and at least for diabetes that I report on, there are worksheets Nancy

Thanks all How much do the registries cost? How much do you net after increased staff time and paying the registry fees? How can PQRS ever pencil out for the docs?
