Two issues with the newer spell checker in AC, not sure if they deserve separate threads.

1) Anyone else having the issue that spell check occasionally (frequently) cuts the corrected word from its original location and moves it to the bottom of the section? Does not seem to happen when spell checking within the "enlarged" box.

2) Anyone experimented with the dictionaries for the spell checker? When the spell check is using the customizable dictionary list "userdict.txt" in AC8, it does not seem to recognized any capitalization preferences. There are 3 other dictionary lists in the "CustomDictionaries" folder that may be handled differently.

The "CostarDictionary.txt" list seems to have random capitalizations.

The "MedsDictionary.txt" appears to use capitalizations more consistently, including containing "Tallman" capitalizations.

The "ImmunizationsDictionary.txt" seems to have a very strange assortment of capitalizations, and certainly not all of the items in the list are obviously immunizations. Is this dictionary used only within the Immunizations section of Decision Support?

Anyone know if there are any ramifications to editing these other dictionaries. Seems likely that when the spell checker uses the MedsDictionary.txt file, it may be acknowledging capitalization preferences, but I am far from certain of that. It is also possible that this dictionary may be updated from time to time.

I would like a more usable and customizable spell check, even if I have to hack a little.

With regards to #1, yes. It happens to me all the time. It's been going on so long now that I know to go back and check after I spellcheck my notes when I close them.

Rarely have I experienced #1, did you put in a bug report.

Bug reports are often prioritized by number of complaints received. I will put one in and recommend that others do the same

I'm using Version 8.2.4, build 123. Sorry, definitely should have included that info. Seems to happen more frequently now (in version 8) than when I was using version 7.

Even without the spell check, in the Plan section I used to get typed text suddenly moving to the end of the section, now it seems to be happening in other boxes as well but not so frequently as in Plan. It's so hit-or-miss that sometimes I'm tempted to think that I somehow did it, except that it never happens to me in any other program. Seems more often to happen after the first letter, then the rest of the word appears at the end of the section.

I use spell check a lot, my typing accuracy in the exam room is pretty bad.

Will bug report the moving text in the spell check, and separately the typed text issue, though suspect they are somehow related.
