I need to search my database to return all patients currently with active primary or secondary insurance with a specific insurer to send a message that affects only patients with that single specific insurer. The problem is that Amazing Charts is returning all patients who have ever been insured by that specific insurer. Apparently upon upgrading from version 6.3.3 to 8.2.5, this has become a problem. In 6.3.3 Report queries did not return patients no longer currently on the queried insurance. Now even though on Demographics/Billing Information the inactive insurer either doesn't show up at all, or only shows up if you check the box "Search Inactive and Active Insurance Plans" (I have some of both) - both are undesirably returned inappropriately when doing a report for a specific insurer.
Anybody who has also experienced this know of a work around solution? Already sent a bug report to AC.
