I am having an issue where Tech support has looked at this issue and the problem still is there... Our 99202 and 99203 cpt codes when they cross from AC to PM are kicking back stating "no effective usual charge found for procedure: 99203(or 99202)". I cannot send out any claims at this moment since we went live on 10.7.15 because our new patients are not producing charges in PM. We have checked for the procedure codes and also the charge in usual charge in administration and all seems to be correct. Is there anything else I am missing?
I also went into AC, resaved in account information and still fails for usual charge for procedure.
Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks

What Pm are you using?
If using ACPM, or MedFx you may need to put the code into the database, but this is a common thing and Tech support should have solved it if that were the case.
The code may be in database but not the charge for the code.

The procedure code is in the code database and the usual charge for ACPM. Yet when I run the charge synchronization errors report, it comes back that "no effective usual charge found for procedure: 99203" so I am not sure what is going on. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had the issue and what solution they had to the issue.
Tech support saw the charge was in there and also that the charge was in there as well.
PM 8.2.2
Thank you

Dear DermGirl,
Check the procedure code in the admin table of ACPM and remove any associated modifiers.

There are not any modifiers listed on the codes. It is happening to the NP codes 99203, 99202... I have since deleted them and the usual cost and saved, tried to get them from AC to ACPM, then re-added them under procedure and the usual cost as well. Still to no avail. I think this issue is far beyond me... :S
Thank you so kindly

Dear DermGirl,
When adding the code to the procedure table add only the code, description and cpt code fields. Then in the usual charge table add only the practice, code and charge.
