OK, I should probably research this more myself, but there are many who can likely help more quickly.
Just a few questions on 8.2.4
It seems like the ICD-9 codes default to ICD-9 as far as the radio buttons. This occurs when you are searching for the diagnosis as well as when you do the Superbill.
Can you print a Superbill before you sign off. Probably not. But, after I sign off, it is not easy to go back in and find the patient and right-click and find the Superbill thing to print it off. Then, I have to choose ICD-10 again.

Nota bene: Thanks, but my question wasn't what was the current release.
My only question is unanswerable or no. I just wish I could pull the "last saved chart" from the Print letters/print encounters window which pops up after saving a note. It would have many advantages.

I use 8.2.3 and the ICD 10 codes are incompllete and not the 5th or 6th 'digit' specificity. I do not know if that has improved.

Ever since the switch to ICD ten AC has become super slow when inputing cpt codes in billing window when trying to close a chart. It might be worth switching if the performance is increased. Any else noticing 8.2.2. drop in performace with icd 10?

I'm on 8.2.4 but switched before ICD 10 implemented, I find it (ICD 10) faster than ICD 9 was on 8.2.4 but then again I have a new server so ?

NB 8.2.5 is the current release. 8.2.4 is the current release. AC is installing 8.2.5 when they do upgrades, as are we.

Yes, but it isn't the current release. We need to be consistent. The current release, according to AC, is the one available in your patient portal.

I would argue that it is AC that needs to be consistent. You accurately describe how AC says to define the current release. What does that mean, though? If you buy AC as a new customer or upgrade from version 6, and they install 8.25... well isn't that really the current release? They have their own reasons for defining it the way they do, but it doesn't make it right.

I am not sure which way you are arguing (using that term loosely). I recall once not too long ago, that multiple practices were on multiple versions. Versions were coming out so fast with 6.1.2, then 6.1.x, then 6.3.3, then 7.x, etc. I am not sure how or when, but AC finally made it clear that the download available in the portal was the correct "official" release.
Most software companys have a latest version. For BackupAssist, it is v9. Which I just bought. The difference is their versions come out twice a year.
I was once moderately scolded for making available a later release to someone. So, I am sure 8.2.5 is ready for release, and I am sure it is as stable, if not more so, than 8.2.4. But, it currently is not the official latest release. It only takes seconds to replace 8.2.4 with 8.2.5 online.
I doubt if AC will come on the board tomorrow and tell me I am wrong about 8.2.4. They would only do that if 8.2.5 were in the patient portal available for ALL to download. It is silly for AC to install 8.2.5 for new users while regular users can only upgrade to the current version. And, while we know that 8.2.5 only fixes a few things which aren't that significant, most of the users don't know that.

It is silly for AC to install 8.2.5 for new users while regular users can only upgrade to the current version. Exactly. It makes no sense. My point is that the version AC installs (when they do it) IS the official version and should be the one on the portal. It is a bit confusing or even a little deceptive to do it otherwise.

Oh, I gotcha. Sorry. I agree. That's why I said I wasn't sure which way you were leaning. My mistake.
