This is the worst software out there
The support is a suction to your bank account
Does anyone have and has a good interface between AC and Medisoft
Need appointments and billing to cross over
Please advise and ty in advance

I agree X-Link is not a satisfactory program as far as Amazing Charts is concerned. The ICD 10 codes are incomplete. The Biliing demographics does not tranfer easily and does not automatically get updated. There are many errors. I just use it to transfer basic demos (Name and Chart Number) so I can disctate a note. That's all!

They keep asking us to pay for upgrades. Since I have chosen NOT to participate in MEANINGFUL USE and PQSR, I see no need to upgrade.

P Chowdhury

For those that do not use AC PM, (which I see from the board is less than satisfactory)and use other billing software such as mine Medisoft a better interface than X Link is needed.

Mr Squire why is this fraudulent company only the one that is provided the HL 7 codes to provide the interface.

You buy the software and there is no support not even for 30 or 60 days. Has anyone bought any software with no support for even 24 hours??

Support is absurd and raks up charges without solving the problems

What kind of ridiculous terms are these.

Also to connect 1 database to another database you are exhorted per provider charge, WHAT A RIP OFF IS THIS!!!

AC get with the program and provide the small providers adequate support and help and get an alternative software and eliminate this hoax called X-link!!!!

Others may need to chime in here, but I have issues with the above posts, sorry.

X-Link is NOT an AC product. When you go to their website, many different EMRs use them. AC cannot "police" all of the various interfaces.

It has been said repeatedly here and elsewhere that X-Link is not very good with AC interfaces.

I used medisoft years ago but quickly got tired of the perenial increases in cost.

When looking at the interfaces I see a medisoft requiring V17 or greater and a medisoft via communication manager. Are these not an option?

There are other options for medical billing besides medisoft and ACPM.

I completely understand that X-Link is not an AC product.

The questions comes that just this month this product was promoted on the forum

X-Link in forum

When this product has such a poor service why is it the only one on AC website and AC forum and why not any others which are available in the market.

I have the same issues with medisoft costing and only upgrade the version as mandated jumped from v 11 to v 17 due to 5010
and now from v 17 to v 20 due to ICD.

Have used the Medisoft PM for > 20 years, have the guts and reporting in perfect place.

The perfect EMR should have a good PM (which AC is trying to get in place).

Which PM did you switch to

I will agree that they have promoted X-link as an option, and it's been known to have issues

I was billing on in house with medisoft. Our medisoft distributor was also a friend and had a billing company. We went with him for a while. We then switched to MTBC (big mistake). We went with MedFX with the intent of jumping to ACPM, but things are stable, we decided to wait until ICD10 and we will consider going to ACPM. MedFX made the software that ACPM is based, so it should be similar and hopefully we will have less issues. They use a different clearinghouse, so there will be hickup (have to change all that over) ACPM is less expensive than MedFX.
