So I have my system set to convert to ICD-10 on 10/1 in V 8.2.5. Will the system change our diagnoses to ICD-10 diagnoses or are we going to have to do this manually? Anyone know?

I also would like to know, as this is really the only reason I would change to 8.2.5. I also want to know how much of a slow down I will have with opening charts, II's, and the like.

If you are running V8.2.4 or 8.2.5, open a note and change the date to 10/2/2015. You will notice that all of your ICD-9 codes are converted to ICD-10.
So, yes, AC will change your diagnoses to ICD-10, and you can check that now.
Bill, what do you mean by "setting your system to convert to ICD-10 on 10/1"?

FYI- I was told that your problem list ICD-9 codes will not be converting to ICD-10 under the summary sheet tab. However, the problem list on the most recent encounter does convert to ICD-10 but some codes show up as 000. I am assuming that will be the case when there is more than one option for choosing a new code in ICD-10.

If anyone wants to convert one by one, there is a really nice website here: http://icd10.nuemd.com/icd-10/codes

Bill, what do you mean by "setting your system to convert to ICD-10 on 10/1"? Under Admin > Tools. There is a drop down that says "set ICD-10 conversion date". I think it is set to 10/1 by default

Both those websites look good and I book marked them. I tried Jon's trick above and it does change the encounter to ICD-10 codes but Robynne is right. The summary stayed ICD-9 and some of the codes showed up as 000. Looks like those websites are going to be invaluable.
