All of a sudden AC stopped automatically adding vaccine codes/charges when my MAs are entering the vax info into a note.

Nothing changed from last week to this week.

Curiously, half the time AC still adds the vaccine admin codes, but not the vaccine.

Any ideas ?

what version do you have,
there is a setting in the admin control to turn auto add off, it doesn't work for everyone

It worked fine until about 1-2 weeks ago;
V8.2.4

Try going to the admin section
under define orders & order sets,
You can change the CPT code ALONG with whether it is auto added
I believe it WILL add the code.

Another spot to reset would be admin, misc preferences to auto add admin codes


Perhaps the preferences were scrambled somehow and need to be reset

That box is already checked. I will try to uncheck , then re-check that box.

Actually, the admin codes show up, just no vaccine codes.

We are a pediatrics office. I have a question about the auto bill for vaccines. When the auto bill is turned on it will bill a vaccine administration code (sometimes) per vaccine. I still have to go in and change this as for vaccines you bill an admin charge for each component in the vaccine? How are you able to make this work in your office. Are you still having to change the units manually??
