I apologize if someone has complained about this before, but it is time to vent. Why is it that in the letter writer, when you highlight something and you extend the highlight towards the end of the paragraph, the program highlights the entire paragraph, or a large portion of the text previous to where you actually started your highlight? This is so annoying. Additionally, if you're at the end of the paragraph and you backspace to eliminate a word, the program highlights the entire paragraph? Is there some setting that I can change in the program that would eliminate this problem? Or, is this just another item to add to the list of issues with Amazing Charts?

This is one of several annoyances in the Letter Writer. Yes, it is improved vs the old one, but it has some issues.
AC's view is that there are few of us using the LW, and even fewer asking for repairs/improvements.
Perhaps that is because it is more needed by specialists; perhaps because people found the old one to be so poor that they just eliminated it from their workflow.

In any case, a functional, improving letter writer would be valuable to me! Please post here (and if you wish, contact AC directly) if you agree.

It would be great if the letter writer was better. Specialists near me seldom write us letters. I want to show them what it could look like.

I just went to v8 form v6, and the letter writer looks MUCH better. But... how do I import all my old letter templates? I've spent countless hours on those.

I am getting used to the letter writer and it seems more functional than V6.3.3. I had to write a letter for a work release yesterday, but could not get the letter writer to create a simple letter the way I was doing it. I finally chose write letter to patient then typed up the work release. Is there something I am missing? I like the ability to adjust the font size and type of font.

I suggest populating more contacts in Rolodex. We have one of the contacts "To Whom It May Concern" with no address or other specifics. The old templates are probably still there but I ended up converting them in to new ones.

Good morning,

The old letter templates are still available. Just right click in the body of the letter. Also some users find the tool bar at the top makes more sense if you press home. Then it looks more like you are used to in word.

Take a moment to go leaf peeping it helps with stress.
