Trying to find out how to do this best. Our 5 doctor practice recently hired a MA who is willing to do our refills for us.

1) In administrator, can only pick one doc to Rx: for, can't choose all of us.
2) Is there anyway she can start Rx: and we can sign off them?

She can sign the papers if they come over, but really want all in AC.

Thoughts?

I can't imagine letting an MA do refills. Does she know not to automatically refill certain medications that need monitoring? I think the idea is fraught with liability.

Neil,

Easiest way to accomplish this is to create a user account for each Doctor that needs supported. Not clean, and not without risks, but there you go.

My MA is better than a mid-level.

Just assign her to do refills for one of your docs. When she writes an eRx for another doc, just have her change the dropdown box in the eRx transmit window to that doctor.
