Since 8.2.2 and now 8.2.4 I have been getting random shutdowns of AC, luckily the resurrection of last chart works so not losing input but now happening 2-3 times a day

Koby,

Have you tried rebooting your AC server (if you have one)?

Some of us get this once or twice a day; others several times a day on 8.2.3. We are peer-to-peer and reboots don't seem to make a difference.

I was having this problem on even earlier versions of AC and, at least in my case, was often tied to activity in other software programs on the main computer (Microsoft Office was the main offender). Have since upgraded equipment AND have only had AC (and some minor programs) running on the main computer. Other programs were moved to a secondary machine. This has fixed my problem.

I run AC 2 separate settings both using 8.2.4: in office a peer to peer network the 'server' is a windows 7 pro machine, it happens daily when connected wirelessly on a Surface Pro 2 running Windows 8.1, can count on it crashing daily usually after lunch???; other setup is in nursing home running Windows 7 Pro on ThinkPad laptop the laptop houses the database in that setting happens less frequent

Mine is not random. If I try to sign off on my imported items too fast it crashes almost every time.

And if you use the letter writer twice in a row, (Did Not Keep Appointment - Letters) on the third letter it says it doesn't have enough memory and kicks you out. If you wait a LONG time, or if you restart AC you can do two more. Happened before 8.2 and now continues to annoy.
