Hello all. Our office is in week 3 of rolling out our EMR with AC and things are going ok (always a few hiccups of course). My partner and I are trying to find a good way to do flowsheets to track INR, etc and cannot find a great way to do so. What tips do you guys have?

We track it on the flow sheet / Track data function on Summary sheet. In admin options, any data that needs to be tracked, can be specified. The data has to be manually added every time.

Have INR as one item which will graph. Coumadin dose as free text with followup usually in weeks.

Thanks for the tips, this will work out nicely. @mkweiss, when you say free text w/ followup where do you place your free text? It is easy to put that information in the data field to read, however, as you've mentioned it is nice to be able to graph.

Brian,

You can use the Tracked Date section but I would suggest using Excel (Or word). You can open an excel file, fix it how you want. Save it to the desktop. Then open the patient's Imported Items section and drop & drag the excel file into Imported Items.

Then when you need to update something, just go to Imported Items section, double click the Excel file and it will open it's native program. Update what you need to and click save.
