Hi folks,

I attested to stage 1 MU for the FOURTH time last year, using the latest rules allowing us to do so under the 2014 MU criteria - did the portal, clinical summaries, yada yada, for the 90-day period October to December.

Still waiting to get paid. CMS MU website status still says locked for payment. Apparently they are still waiting on our PQRS documentation (submitted through claims) to be reviewed for the 1st Quarter of this year. At least that's what we're being told is the hold-up.

Anyone else still waiting who "successfully" attested for 2014? I submitted our attestation information on January 6th or 7th, as I have the previous 3 years. Always was paid by mid-February.

Incidentally, had planned to just bail out for Stage 2 and have not made any efforts towards MU for this year but looks like with the new rules we may be able to do so for the last quarter of the year after all. We shall see.

Thanks for any input.

jim

Hi Jim,

According to the payment chart I have, you should be looking at $4000 for a 4th year of MU, assuming you started in 2011 (which should be the case if 2014 was your 4th year). For 2015 you would be getting $2000.

Hi Mark,

Yeah, I knew what to expect dollar-wise. Just wasn't expecting to still be waiting in mid-June for payment and was wondering if I'm the only one (and therefore should assume something went wrong).

Thanks,

Jim

Whoop... Sorry. I mis-read you question. I have seen payment delays past the standard 6-8 weeks, especially in the last year or so. Compound that with the PQRS hold up and I'm not surprised that it is taking so long.
