The contact list should provide space for 2 email addresses...both in AC and in Updox. One email is for standard email. The second is for their DIRECT email address. All communication doesn't need to be HIPAA-compliant but we need to be able to add these addresses to out contact list. Then we should simply be able to select their name and choose to send securely (or not, as the case may be).

I'd like to be able to send items from the imported items folder directly to the patient from within AC. I'd also like to be able to send items from imported items securely to another physician. I feel we should be able to click on a lab result and select a physician from the address book and simply "send securely" to them.

I would like to send lab results directly to the patient through updox when I am signing off on them in AC. Having to print to updox and then send is painful and some people are just not getting the results because of this time consuming detour.

Todd, I asked Updox about that yesterday. If we want these things, we need everyone to send in product improvement requests about it. We need to spam them to get the features we want up to the top of the product improvement queue.

I'm on board. I spam you Updox and AC. Give us direct email from AC without printing to updox. I prob waste 20/min per day printing referrals, orders etc to Updox.
