After you sign off a lab, is there a way to eliminate the prompt asking if you want to delete the message from the inbox?

Also, is there a way to select multiple labs from the inbox and sign all at once?

Thanks

Hi Dino,

There is no way to turn off the delete message prompt.

Not a way to sign off multiple labs either. You can do a global sign all from the admin section but I wouldn't recommend that.

Dino,

A quick way to sign off normal labs: Double click the message to open the lab. If it's normal and I don't need to write anything:

Press and hold the ALT button, while holding the ALT button hit the letter "S" twice, then press ENTER (or just click YES to delete message from inbox). This will help you quickly cycle through normal labs without a million mouse clicks.

Thanks Marty.

Any other shortcut/tricks to reduce clicks?

Dino,

Wish I had some other tricks to reduce clicks but I don't. Hopefully that trick signing off normal labs will help some

Prescription writer
Alt F4 closes eligibility screen
Alt 1 prepares Prescription
Alt 2 side effects
Click for pharmacy

F9 goes to imported items

Wish list: Have keyboard shortcuts in medications to save and close

I have self trained to use keyboard shortcuts to reduce EMR clicking for Ac and for EPIC
