Any thoughts about this new feature from Updox?

I submitted an inquiry today but haven't heard from them regarding pricing and more info.

I wonder if this syncs with ACPM's schedule correctly?

My only thought is that I feel a good reminder system should be part of a good appointment system at no extra charge. I do already pay for full Updox and don't usually use their scheduler because of a couple of deficiencies which are important to me and which keep me using Appointment Quest. I would prefer to use the scheduler built into the portal so patients only have one thing to sign in on.

Kim, no we haven't because it Updox depends on us having our schedule in AC which we don't. For it to work we would have to export our weekly schedule from our PM and then upload it to Updox, which is of course impractical.

We were looking forward to trying it with ACPM (which would have the schedule in AC) but it didn't work out and we are back with our old PM.

Any one knows how AC reminders compare with Updox reminders?

As far as I know, AC reminders are for internal use. You set yourself a reminder within AC for a specific date and it reminds you (or another employee if you set it to) as a yellow msg in your inbox.
Updox [appointment?] reminders are for patients. They are notified and asked to confirm upcoming appointments.

Thank you Josue, I was referring to AC appointment reminders.
