In the message view, there are a few patients whose names have a bright orange frame around them.
I have no idea how such pretty colors came about. But, more importantly I have no idea how to remove the coloration!
Has anyone experienced this or have any idea of the significance of it??

Not sure, unless their name is associated with a Reminder... but that's a little more yellow on my screen.

I'm not sure, but I have seen this too. But I do believe it has to do with something about how long it has been since their last visit. Anyone else???

Pretty sure that shows up if it has been more than one year since their last visit.....I guess to remind you they haven't been seen recently.

Yes, It is to show you that they have not been there in a year. Very useful to see in a glance, especially when you pull them up during a phone call or refill.

Oh well, that makes sense since it's been a year since we've had AC. That explains why all of a sudden we're seeing these pop up.

While on that subject, you might look at the yellow sticky notes that you access in the demographics. These are useful to let the staff know either the patient has issues (only wants to see 1 provider, repeatedly fails appointments, etc.) or has other issues like a bounced check with disconnected telephone number.
Once they request release of records to see another provider, we will flag them with a yellow note to let the staff know they cannot reschedule (on selective patients.) There are some people you are glad to see leave.
The yellow notes will pop up under the orange.

If you notice people in orange it is because they have not been in to see you in a year or more. It is just an alert to let you know that.
