I know this must be simple but I cannot find out where to do it and old posts are not helping.
When I forward a chart I see several group mailboxes to forward to.
How would I assign a user to say, the Billing Group mailbox so that user can read messages sent to the Billing Group mailbox?
Nothing in ADMIN under user setup shows an option to assign a mailbox to a user.

I believe it is based on the user profile - so when you enter the category it puts them into the correct mailbox.

What profile are you referring to ?
there is a level of access, but that seems more related to RX and sign-offs.
Nothing shows up for billing in that area.

Now that I look I am not sure - if you set your staff to nursing level it allows them to look at shared nursing box....maybe billing is under lower level. I don't use these as I send to individuals. Sorry

Hi Kevin,
The groupboxes are assigned by the level of access you grant a user. Highest, high/Mid level Providers = Provider Groupbox Nursing = Nursing Groupbox Secretary/Audit level = Front Desk Groupbox
The billing groupbox was a holdover in the code from when we were trying to build our own PM (old Version 7 than never really made the light of day). This groupbox at this time does not have any functionality and no users can access this.
If you did send something to this groupbox by accident, you can retrieve it by going to your Outbox (click the dropdown in the top left of your messages screen to changes your boxes), selecting the message, and clicking the "Retrieve Message" option.
