Just noticed last week that the time stamp for our eRx is off. Script sent at 3pm says it was sent at 5:10pm. Not sure if this is the reason for increased pharmacies saying they haven't rec'd our scripts or not, but where is the timestamp set for this application? Not sure how long it has been happening; just noticed it when a pt called to say Rx not at pharmacy and timestamp was set to future. Any help appreciated.

From my understanding, when you send a script from within Amazing Charts, it doesn't get sent right away. It goes to newcrop/surescripts first then to the pharmacy. I have noticed on multiple occasions there is a delay after I send the script. On the other hand, I've had a patients cell phone ring with the pharmacy calling while the patient is still in the room.

In my humble opinion, when the pharmacy tells the patient they haven't received the script, more often then not they haven't really looked (or it's just too early after the script was sent).

It usually takes less than 5 minutes - I believe the time stamp is based on Eastern time but it has never been correct for Pacific Time. It has nothing to do with when it will be sent. I too believe that most pharmacies just lie or don't look.
