Hello all,

Could someone knowledgeable remind me how to reset the prescription counter when the counter no longer meshes with the number of pending prescriptions. This tends to happen infrequently, but I've always found it bothersome.

Thanks!

Start the AC utilities and run the DB optimization.

I appreciate this Indy.
But I tried it and no success.
Any other thoughts? There is also the repair connections button under AC utilities.

It happens to me a lot. Just had Guardian perform this.

Make sure everyone is logged off.
Run the DB Tuner from the Server
Restart

This is frustrating, but that didn't work either Boondoc. I wonder if I am running the correct application. Many people refer to it as the database tuner, but I don't see anything labeled database tuner. Instead, under AC utilities, I see "optimize database," which is what I am running. I did have everyone log off and I did restart the main computer (we don't have a server per se). So, if anyone could tell me what i am doing wrong I would be most appreciative!

The database tuner is a separate application, usually only used when upgrading versions. You may have it saved wherever you saved the AC install software. It isn't a part of the AC Utilities application. I have used it several times to reset the incorrect prescription counter.

Yes, it is a separate program. I found it in my original folder with the AC installer.

I just upgraded to 7.1.3. Discussed the same problem with them. Had a similar problem in the past and was told it was a Database tuner problem. Had them run the Tuner again, and the counter is back to 0. So far so good (after 3 days...)
