anybody figure out how to actually select the 9 of 64 CQM's, from 3 of 6 domains?

I keep getting this error message when I try to run a meaningful use wizard report, but I still have only 16 available CQM's available on the CQM-Adult tab, and all but 2 fall under clinical processes.

I'm running 7.1.3.

left an email. still waiting to hear back

ha!

just got the call back from amazing charts.

apparently, as of now, you cannot do it through the Meaningful Use Wizard.

they're saying it shouldn't hurt you from a Meaningful Use 2014 standpoint, because they are MU2014 certified.

however, I'm not confident it couldn't hurt from a PQRS reporting standpoint, because my understanding is that these are separate issues/incentives/punishments.

my conclusion:
you can still run the Meaningful Use Wizard for as many CQM/PQRS reporting as you wish (I'm choosing 7 all under Clinical Processes), and have it generate a report.

then I think you will then need to manually pick 2 other CQM's from the CMS list from 2 other domains, and then try to manually create a list/report.

(there are currently 2 other CQM's listed under 2 other domains of Patient Safety and Clinical Efficacy. one involves complication rates from cataract surgery and the other about back pain. you could theoretically choose these 2 and be compliant).

how the Wizard captures data still seems like a mystery to me (and seems grossly inaccurate), but for now CMS only cares that you're reporting, not how terrible the results look. that must be saved for next year!

Hello. I just started doing the report for Stage 1 and I'm not really sure how to do it. I'm ok with the core and menu reports but the CQMs, I'm completely clueless. I tried inputting the G codes that fell under the parameters for CQM but for some reason the denominators increase but the numerator stays at 0 so the total score for each parameter remains at 0. Also, only "Cataract Surgery Complications" is showing up under Patient Safety and this does not pertain our practice. But when I select this parameter and run the report, the denominator and numerator remains 0 but exclusion shows 9 so our total score for this is -9.

Can somebody please help? Amazing Charts is supposed to call us back but no one called yet since last week and the deadline is coming up.
