I recently upgraded the computers in my office to V 7.1.2. In addition to the server we have 17 client computers. On just one client pc Amazing Charts crashes when the Clinical Summary tab is clicked on. AC on the server and the other pc work fine. Support spent about an hour and was not able to resolve the problem. We tried the repair function and a clean re-install. Does anyone know of any particular software programs that conflict with AC? The antivirus is AVG but it's on all of the pc. I uninstalled an anti-spyware program but that didn't help.

Ted, When just reviewing old posts waiting on next patient, I saw your post. It was AMAZING! I was toasted just a couple weeks ago when I downloaded and installed the 7.12 ver. after AC posted it was their new ( not beta ) AC version. What a cluster! Guardian Angel was hard to get in touch with. When I finally spoke with them, I let them remote into my server. A WEEK LATER they finally called me back and said 7.12 had a bug that could NOT be fixed. Unfortunately, you can NOT go backwards the a previously functioning version. Therefore I'm left with a dysfunctional EMR that's paid for and a support service ( also paid for) that takes a week to get back to you when there is a major program problem. All traces of ver. 7.12 have been wiped off the AC website. Why after your experience, did AC not fix the program before they released it?? I'm stuck, but this is no longer a company I wish to do business with anymore. Nate

To resolve the problem I eventually had to wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything. AC functions correctly on this PC now.

Ted, thanx for the reply. Fortunately I've migrated away from AC, but still look at this board for curiosity reasons. Will AC guardian support give you a cut of the fee I paid to them, b/c you seem to know more than they do. Good Luck, nate
