OK, so I've been working closely with a client who has utilized your software in the past for their patient records and so on. At their corporate office, they had a server which ran VMware to run a Windows Server 2008 from a virtual machine that hosts the amazing charts server.
I have found what I believe to be the database with all of our patient's information and the amazing charts installation file.
My plan of action, instead of trying to configure the current setup to a new network (different IP address ranges, etc), is to completely set up the server virtual machine from scratch and then import the patient information database into a fresh installation.
Do you have any words of wisdow / caution about doing this? Also, there wouldnt by chance happen to be any documentation describing close to this or something similar would there?
Thanks

Just do a backup on the old server. The re install the same version on the new server and restore your backup and you should be set. Just make sure you do a full backup including imported items. You may then want to manually copy over data from folders in the Amazing charts folders like any of the interface folders, backup's, etc.
