So that we can understand the problem a little better, please let us know if you don't know the password to logon onto AC at the main logon screen, OR are you referring to the administrator section and that particular password?

Furthermore, are you actively using AC in your office and have patient data on AC? Or have you not imported all of your patient data yet?

If you are talking about the 1st logon screen, you could logon as another user, then log into the Administrator section (provided you know that password) and you could change your user password or create a new user profile.

If you are not really using AC in your office yet, then simply reinstall it. If you are already using it in your office and have important patient data, you could copy the database, reinstall AC, then paste the database back into your AC folder. If you do this, just make sure to have more than 1 backup copy.

If these options don't work or don't apply, you could check w/ customer service on this and see if there is a method to retrieve passwords.

There are multiple ways to get to it.

If you know the admin password then in the login screen just put the user as "admin" and it will take you to admin side and you should able to reset the password.

If you dont have the admin password then there is another way of doing it by crack openning the "access database" and then looking into the providersecurity table. The password for each user is in that table. If you dont know microsoft access or databases well I would strongly sugest that you call Support
