Can someone assist me with duplicate charts in ver 7.1.12
Prior posts of merging duplicate charts has changed in this version

My merge screen still looks the same in 7.1.2, I didn't actually process a merge but when I went it looked the same. I open patient demographic tab of patient that should be merged and click on file-Merge this patient with another. Then you put in the chart you are keeping and merge the 2.

We have similar issue in our practice. I was unable to merge some charts for the same encounter. our meaningful use numbers went down and we are unable to merge visits. I received no help from help desk. they said it was impossible and left it at that. very frustrated that our denominators doubled and our data is incorrect since multiple charts are from same encounter. does 7.1.2 fix that?
