1) Has anyone else had issues with spell check messing up the note? Every time I run spell check in the plan section of the note, the last word that is corrected gets moved to the very top of the plan (top left of the section). It messes up the sentences. 2) Also, any one has issues with CCD (continuity of care document),that is supposed to be available for printing after a consult letter is done, cannot be viewed or printed on the main computer? 3) Is there a way to run a report of commonly seen diagnoses and prescribed medicines? Thanks

I just never use spell check. It would take my staff 30 minutes to finish a note. Besides, it has never worked.

Naeem, I have not seen the problem you describe in #1. Is that happening on all of your computers? Sounds like a bug on your particular machine. The good news is the rumor of a NEW spellchecker in V8, due out this fall.
On #3... I don't know, but I do not think that is possible.

Thanks Yes, correcting a spelling error in the plan section the correction gets moved as noted and now you have a grammar error rather than a spelling error. I am on 6.6.5. Greg

It's good to know that I am not the only one with those issues and it is the program rather than a bug on my PC. Hopefully next versions and spell checkers will be better.

Since updating to 7.12, the spell check checks even the most common medical terms. Some of it's suggested corrections are a real laugh. Ha Ha. Okay now make it stop!

Please download Dropbox file available under spellcheck search posted by Wendall Medical dictionary Replace the userdic with this file And you have 50k medical words I was going to comment on this but then I couldn't remember if I actually posted it. It took clicking control+V and i about 50K times to get all of them added, but I did it while watching TV on my laptop (took about 1/2 hour) The above file I created by converting a free medical dictionary word file to the format of the userdic file. It is about 700K and misses a few things, but it's waaaaay better than starting from scratch. You have to remember when upgrading to put your current one to the side or go back to this one and add your custom words from this.
