After upgrading the office to V7.1.2 from V6 we noticed the custom dictionary compiled over time has somehow been erased/reset. This resides in the userdic.tlx file as we have been told before. I've checked it on the server and workstations and the file was reset on each computer. Some of these computers, esp. the server, have previous versions that I can restore.
Does anyone know if I can just restore the file back? Or has something changed from V6 that made the file be reset? incompatible?

Every time you update it deletes the old userdic.tlx. This is very frustrating. This has been going on with every version since V1. They are working on an updated spelling system which we should hopefully see soon. It will have a real medical dictionary. They tried working with the other system but it just did not work well.

The patient's expectation is that you have all the answers, sometimes they just don't like the answer you have for them
