Currently I simply create a reminder to my nurse with my interp of lab results, ie Normal CBC, Cholesterol in good range, etc. It would really be nice (given my short attention span and short term memory) if I could scroll the labs while typing this in to the reminder window. Because it is a sub window, the lab window, both PDFs if on the Sign-Off window, or imported labs from the Labcorp interface, is frozen and if I forget what the numbers were, I have to close it, scroll the lab, then re-enter all the previous interps.

Kevin, If you have Updox and a dual monitor desktop, a nice work around is after direct importing to AC, send labs to Updox inbox, keep labs visible on right hand screen, while typing letter in left hand screen in AC. This really helps the problem you describe, I think if I understand you correctly.

I use a 28 inch monitor so I could just pull the chart, open the PDF in a separate window, open the Reminder window in AC and be able to scroll the lab but it's a lot of clicks, then I have to go to the sign off window and sign off. It would make more sense to just keep the Reminder window as part of the Lab review window or Sign-off window.

Kevin, I should have added, when completed with this task, letter and labs in inbox of updox get sent to patient portal by nurse. But there is definitely more than one way to problem solve.

Kevin, I think you bring up a point that is worthwhile. Hopefully AC will make note of it. Let me suggest another work-around. When you are signing off and want to send a reminder, review the labs and type the text for the reminder into the box in the lower left, "Add comment to item before signing-off". Do this before opening the reminder box. Select the text, hit ctrl-x, and then open the reminder box and hit ctrl-v to paste it in. A couple extra steps, but it may be worth it until AC takes note and makes the change you are asking for.
