Could some users recommend the latest version that is stable? And, what advantages it has over earlier versions besides MU?

6.55 is very stable....slower than prior version but I'd say very stable. I'm reluctant to upgrade but will need to soon if I plan to do MU2. I wish there was more info here.

I'm running 6.6.7 and it's nice and stable.

Just updated to version 6.6.7 Dragon does not work in the new letter writer. Any fix for that?
The AC system has become loaded with so many things to do before signing a chart, my mind spins each time I sign a note to make sure I have complied with everything and captured all that I did and still I am not certain that I did everything correct.
If I remember correctly, Bertman?s vision was to keep it simple and workable!! I don?t see that any more.
I don?t think any system out there is any easier, but what is being asked of us to do is just becoming too much to bear and it is a degradation of a noble profession.

Is there any reason to upgrade from version 6.3.3 if I don't do MU [considering retirement in 6-12 months]?

6.3.3 is very stable, but is still on SQL 2005 (which isn't a big deal). I would say if you are retiring in six to twelve months, you could use paper.

Is there any reason to upgrade from version 6.3.3 if I don't do MU [considering retirement in 6-12 months]? Only if you like change. The best thing about V7 is the direct updox limk, along with being MU certified (which is not a big deal for you.) Stick with 6.3.3. The others seem to be stable, but not a lot of interface changes, mostly background things and fixing bugs. Other changes are MU stuff

Well, there is the new letter writer and also being able to log the copay in during check-in/check-out. But if you are going to retire in 6 months, you may not want to be bothered if you have alot of pcs or are worried about introducing a fault. With just 6 months, I probably wouldn't.

Thanks. I think my MAs would die for having the two phone numbers of the pharmacy in eRx.

For the same equipment, network, and setup, versions beyond 6.3.3 are demonstrably slower. If you have several users (above 10-15) it may be unacceptable, and we have had clients choose to hard-roll back.

I agree stay with 6.3.3, I'm using 6.6.5 and the 'delay' in closing a chart bugs me; if I didn't have a couple of months into 6.6.5 I'd roll back
