Since yesterday suddenly a message came up from Kaspersky stating that there is a trojan virus in AC and tried to automatically remove it. Since then I have installed AC twice because invariably the AC installer would start when I click on AC to open.
Does anyone have the same problem.

No. But have you created exceptions for the AC folder?
I use AVG Antivirus with exceptions and it doesn't bother AC.

hello,
I had a similar problem but it was with MS security essentials.
I agree that putting the AC folder in exceptions will work as it did for me.

I have had Kaspersky for more than one year now and never created exceptions for any program. Never had a problem with any program until yesterday. I find it strange that it happened all of a sudden. Called support at Kaspersky to see if anyone else had reported an issue with AC. They said they will check it out.

I know how odd it seems that all of a sudden its saying AC is a harm. But it is probable that the Kaspersky's daily definitions update has caused it to now identify AC harmful. It happened to me a couple years ago. I didn't have any exceptions for our PM software and "all of a sudden" my AV thought it was malware.
That's when I learned that exceptions needed to be made. Its common across all AV and somewhere in AC documentation I it actually indicates that it should be done.

Also note that these exceptions need to be made on every computer that has Kaspersky and AC installed. Not just your main computer.
