Are there any major issues with the newest AC upgrade? that I am going to regret upgrading to? I know it says new cms forms...but i have external billing anyway so i am not worried about that.

I am using 6.3.3 ... are there new feature on 6.6.1 that are worth upgrading? The upgrading part is easy, but i don't want to regret upgrading!

JBS Jon had a good point recently.
Because of ICD-10, all of us will be upgrading later this year. This upgrade is primarily a back end upgrade to a newer sql server database engine on your main computer or server. This is more complicated than a usual upgrade, and AC techs even want to help you do it. So imagine the bottleneck this summer when everyone wants the latest upgrade to get ICD-10 and tech help is really hard to get. If you have this upgrade already, you probably won't need tech support. AC would like to have all of us past this backend upgrade successfully before the ICD-10 upgrade.
So upgrade in two steps, one now and another later, or a really big one later when everyone else is trying to get it too.
That said, I have 6.3.3, and have no other ideas on if the upgrade is worth anything more than getting prepared for ICD-10.

So.... When do I need help? If I go to the latest upgrade now, is the fix that affects Sequel?

I wish I lived in Chicago. I would hang out at Wendells office on my days off and soak up IT knowledge.

We are using 6.6.5 without any difficulty. I have noted some slowing but not dramatic. A few seconds. That does matter to me but I wanted to get ready for the icd10 upgrade and MU. I can't afford to walk away from MU $$.

Agree with Dr. Dan even when you do external billing it is important to upgrade to ICD 10. Let's prepare with enough Excedrin and embrace it! no choice if we want to get paid.
